YMCA Swimming Lessons
The YMCA will be offering swimming lessons on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00-1:40 for ages 3-5 and 1:50-2:30 PM for ages 6-12. Certainly we are flexible and would like some feedback as to the appropriate times for when the homeschool community would be available to take swimming lessons. We will also continue to adjust the age ranges and structure of the swimming classes to meet the needs of those students who are interested at any given time.
The YMCA’s Winter Series will begin January 8, 2007 and run through February 3, 2007. Please call me if you are interested in lessons but cannot attend this series. I would like to hear feedback from anyone as to how we can further meet the swimming needs of the homeschool community.

I offer beginner to advanced swimming instruction/stroke mechanics at private pools and at the public pool in Millheim (Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Park) during the summer. I'll gladly work with children aged 3 years and up. Please consider me as a resource for teen/adult swimming lessons as well. I also work with all ages of swimmers who require intermediate to advanced technique help in any of the following strokes: back, breast, fly, &/or free.
Swimming is an outstanding life-long sport with countless health benefits -
not to mention, basic swimming proficiency is a must have for anyone who's going to be around pools, lakes, streams, or rivers.
The fee for lessons or training at a private pool/residence or at the community pool:
$10.00 / 20 minute session (daily entrance fee or seasonal membership required for community pool).
